Thankfully times have changed and reaching out with the touch of your iPhone or laptop makes the never ending list of vendors shorter! Long gone are the days when lugging the giant Yellow Pages book around the house marking off each business from a chord phone was the only way to go.
Now all you have to do is just "Google" it, add a little social media to the mix and your fairytale might as well be re-written for Cinderella herself!
As part of the wedding community we see brides desire to get the best rates, secure their dates and want to know most importantly what others say about the person or company they are interested in hiring. Sometimes being aware of your options is just as important as being a year ahead in planning, but trust us, BOTH makes things a lot easier!

Many of us use Facebook more often then we use our work email! The great opportunity with Facebook is that it allows businesses like us to reach out to you on a more personal level. For Poetry we instantly are aware when you like or comment on our photos, blog or deals! It makes us not only excited but proud to have you like our booth as much as we do! So our advice is to keep updated with your wall and favorite brands, products and vendors on Facebook. Our deals are real and we do reach out to those customers who listen! What does a tweet mean to you? Well for starters it can keep you updated on a lot of big news and updates that also include little tips, hints, discounts and giveaways from your favorite companies! So every celebrity, organization and business is ON Twitter 24/7, but that's too much for you? If social media is "scary" or overwhelming on TOP of your darn checklist or crazy post it note life, we have a solution. Start a Twitter account for your use only. You might not tweet or jump in the conversation but that is ok. Instead, follow the businesses, people, or websites that can help you with your planning or daily life. Many vendors are listed on various wedding sites such as Style Me Pretty, Style Unveiled, The Knot, Green Wedding Shoes, Bridal Tweet, 100 Layer Cake and of course, Wedding Chicks.
Like many in the wedding community we use these sites as an opportunity to reach out to you on a larger avenue and to allow past clients to leave feedback and information on forums and comments as well. We showcase our work on sites such as Wedding Chicks, their blog allows us to leave "Sweet Real Deals" and up to date information to keep you informed as you search and sift for who and what you are looking for.
We also use blogs to highlight and represent our deals and voice. Our digital photo booth is truly a unique experience at your wedding and we know everyone is on a budget. Therefore, vendors like us post our discounts throughout our weekly posts to remind you what offers we have to suit your needs!
Securing your Dates!
Whether you love us or just plain NEED our photo booth for your event, we must remind you that booking in advance can be much more accomodating then trying to secure our services days before. We recommend using our website or other vendors as well to find the most proactive source of information and contact us immediately. We also advise you to email any of your vendors if you have questions or just give us a call! For Poetry Booths we have also signed up with Eventipity, simply sign up and see the available dates we have discounted especially for you. Check to see if our booth is available on your date!

Get your game face ready for TEAM POETRY!
It's the end of January and we know this coming weekend is time for BBQ'n, Superbowl commercials and double dipin' (or, shopping while the hubby and his buddies timeout for the big game) We want to give you a little "Pre-Season Poetry" mixed with some tasteful Superbowl party ideas for everyone! I mean if this isn't a double wammy, we don't know what is! So let's kick start this show into full gear as we unveil what we have in line for Poetry this wedding season :)
First Down in 2012: Couple of the Year
So far January has been a wonderful month for us here at Poetry Booths! We are involved in so many projects and events. As a unique enterpreneurship and a wedding vendor, we look forward to the many opportunities and friendly faces we are yet to meet along the way.
Idalia and Pablo Garcia are the epitome of love and happiness! When we had the opportunity to announce to them that they were our winners of our 2011 Couple of the Year contest we received an outburst of happiness that made us proud to have them as our clients for life!
Idalia shared with us her comedic story & well, we just had to share it with you!
"We are so happy Poetry team has chosen us ! I have a silly/funny story. I'm in bed last night looking at my messages from Facebook and start screaming HONEY HONEY! I jump out of bed and start to run out of our bedroom just as Pablo is running in thinking something is terribly wrong from my screams, we run into each other and fall flat on our butts! I'm laying on the floor cracking up because he is all worried and I'm screaming with sheer excitment about winning the contest. Oh what I would have given to see that moment captured on film...You had to be there!"

Kick Off!
We are proud and honored to be a part of our good friends, Ingri:Dahl's "Kickstarter" project to launch their Spring 2012 collection of 3D sunglasses. We met these two beauties in Los Angeles at an after party hosted by GenLux for Fashion's Night Out, last September.
Ever since, we have helped each other through Twitter and Facebook expand each other's social media presence through support and notoriety! Thus when asked to contribute to their unique Kickstarter endeavour, we jumped on board! A few days ago we were notified that together, our help, along with 330 other backers has allowed these Norwegian Designer 3D glasses to be successfully funded. What an accomplishment! One of the perks from our donation: a pair of our very own 3D sunglasses which we will happily show off in our photo booth! As preferred vendors of the Grand Tradition Estate we were proud to attend their 22nd annual Wedding Dreams Bridal Faire. We were lucky enough to have our booth set up inside the Beverly Mansion for this event!
