So you and your fiance are sitting down to start the wedding process. You have questions, wants, needs and expectations that all lead to your plan of action for the vendors you will choose to be a part of your wedding day. For each couple, different vendors are more of a priority than others either because of cost or preference. Some choose silk flowers over real flowers, evite over invitations, buffet over traditional dining.
But almost always, everyone chooses a photographer at their wedding to capture this once in a lifetime event. So often we as a photo booth rental business hear the question, "I want a photo booth, but do I really need it?" The answer is varied, however we must agree- a photo booth is a specialty item. It may not be on your check list of "Must Haves" but we are here to explain to you what to expect when you book a Poetry Booth at your wedding & the perks that follow.

Your day is busy that is no doubt and no matter what, your vendor should never be your worry on this precious moment. At Poetry Booths, showing up, is NEVER in question! Your personal booth attendant from Poetry Booths arrives over an hour ahead of schedule. Setting up and perfecting our props & behind the scenes camera and printing techniques.

Our booth is not the center of attention unless you make it that way. We are an organized & classy design that allows for guests to either sneak away or pile high behind our "blue" curtain.

Whether you are a hipster or a socialite we have props that will make you gleam in our crisp photos. You can even bring your own props in the booth for that special personal keepsake that will not only remind you of the wedding but your friend or family member, for years to come.

Poetry Booths comes prepared whether you order a photo book or our a sponsor of an event with us. We make sure that the day of is SPECIAL in every aspect of the planning. From booking to day of, the moments that you will forever remember may not be just in the photography but in the actual moments you take the time to sit, share and chatter with the guests and those around you in a comfortable, happy and dedicated setting.

Whether you are newly engaged or just days to go until your big day, you need to know 2 things: the heimlich maneuver & how to breathe like you are in a lamaze class. But all jokes aside, Wedding Planning is WEDDING PLANNING in all seriousness. We know this is the moment you have been waiting for since you were a little girl and it has to be JUST right. Fortunately, the wedding community loves themselves some newbee brides and there is so much to SEE and prep as you gear up for your dream day. With that being said, here are few tips to get into full planning mode!

Let's talk about your home office. You know the one that stores the clothes you don't wear, the mail you never opened, the computer that stopped working 3 years ago? Take an evening or a lazy Sunday to really clean it up and wipe the dust off the curtains. Make this a retreat for you to spend time on those much needed nights on Pinterest and days searching for the ideal vendor.

Websites such as Rusell + Hazel are great for specific wedding needs and nicknacks you can use that are designed to help you organize your wedding planner, day-by-day. We love the planing notebook, it is a great hands on tool to store all of your calendar information & business cards!
Don't forget funky colors and chic office ware, make your home office a place of refuge as you battle the busy days ahead!

We saw this and fell in love! What a GENIUS idea to comprise when your mind and fingers can pin no longer! Simply hang up some clip boards (in a fashionable manner) and sort out the clippings, articles and designs that you have saved throughout the years. Seeing everything laid out can help you began to visualize your theme & colors. If you are nearing your wedding, use this as a tool to make sure nothing gets missed!

When planning ahead, look into events within your community or city. Search local venues for your wedding by attending "open house" events that are free to attend and only for a few hours. You can casually walk around, browse the fancily clad vendor set ups, and really get a taste for the type of wedding you want or new ideas you might not have thought of. Poetry Photo Booths takes part & pride in the bridal faire's and open houses we appear at. It is a delightful opportunity to meet face to face with owners, planners, photographers, and florists in the industry. We have to admit, the best vendors however, are the foodies mmmm mmm!! Free snacks, wedding tips and lots of goodies to take home to hang on that "oh, so crafty" wall of ideas you created (see above!)
The Nixon Library Open House is the perfect example. We recently attended their Open House on March 18th, their venue is located in Yorba Linda and is an elite Orange County venue that we recommend to any of our clients!

And of course, visit your favorite photo booth as a "bride to be"!

One of the most important things you can do is to create a budget from the get go! Make a list of all the vendors and things you absolutely need and the cost for each. Make sure to check out i-do-it-yourself.com, download their uber handy PDF's to keep in your binder for your daily finds. If you are constantly on your iPad or iPhone, try making your own budget friendly Google spreadsheet & while your at it, follow us via Gmail, on Google+ for more tips, deals and news!
Most of all, Organized Bride...you can do it!

You need us like the sun needs the moon, the stars and the sky, the hazelnut needs a latte, a pin needs its Pinterest... So we decided that at your next event it just deems obvious that we would explain to you with an ol' trick of a hat why a photo booth just makes sense!
As a photo booth, we see your smiles, your oh so crazy moments, your headshots, and even your group of 10 or so piled in like a Mini Cooper.

But most of all we see our favorite faces year around share their memories long after the event is over. A photo booth in all its right produces memories for years to come. It's as sweet as a Candy Bar of goodies but it doesn't give you cavities, its as priceless as the moment you say "I Do" and it is well worth it because it gives your guests a good time throughout the event for hours!
Props of all assortments, options of color or black and white prints, a photo book to have your guests write on!

We have so many options and it is a hassle free, smiles only environment! Once your guests jump into our red curtain, its their own mini private event for a couple to share their love, children to laugh and giggle as loud as they please, and of course the bride and groom, to show off their lighter side after all the seriousness is over!

Weddings are meant to be sentimental and endearing...but during the reception its all about mingling and engaging with friends and family! A photo booth brings people together, breaks the ice and is really the cherry on top to the entire event! Trust me, as your premiere photo booth, we know!

We don't just get to meet wonderful you in our booth, we offer a customized print of your special day for each guest to take home. Designed to your liking and suitable for your theme, it is the perfect momento! Your guests and self included can view all photos after the event on SmugMug.com by simply typing in your event code! It's as easy as 1,2,3!

We have captured some of the most amazing pictures inside our booth, with our specially designed high quality lens you will not be disappointed. We must warn you..those who enter might think that they are in the pages of Vogue or Esquire afterwards...just take a look at the one above!

We offer pricing on any budget and a team member is available to speak with you to secure your booth and go over our options. You can email us at any time to secure your booth and insert your information.

We are almost booked for this calendar year and we don't want you to miss out. As you can see we bring happiness whereever we go!
As our loyal clients for every new referral you send us we are offering 10% off to the new client and $10 off your next event on a referal basis. So refer 10 people, that's 100 dollars off your next event! Ain't that something? Simply email us at: info@poetrybooths.com
Hope to see you soon!
